Leading Global Technology Corporation
Our partnership with this client began in December 2017, when Interr was selected to implement a Store Detective Programme across its London locations.
Following the success of this initiative, the client expanded the programme to additional European cities. By April 2018, Interr had been awarded a contract to manage security services across 141 sites in nine European countries.
The initial challenge was executing a seamless mobilisation within a six-week timeframe. This involved transitioning staff under TUPE regulations, integrating with existing European service partners, conducting comprehensive risk assessments, and developing site-specific assignment instructions. A key priority was ensuring the consistent implementation of security standards across all locations from day one. In collaboration with the client’s senior management team, we conducted a joint evaluation of the existing service model, identifying areas for improvement. Interr then introduced new processes, personnel, and structured support systems to align the security programme with the client’s expectations. A key component of this transition was the creation of a bespoke blended training syllabus, designed to enhance service quality and operational effectiveness.
“Interr then introduced new processes, personnel, and structured support systems to align the security programme with the client’s expectations. ”
Our role has since evolved to include the coordination of the client’s high-profile annual product launches, which we manage with relative independence. This involves not only event security planning but also securing the necessary permits from local authorities and overseeing logistical arrangements. Additionally, we have supported the organisation’s Global Crisis Management Team in developing crisis response strategies, emergency evacuation procedures, and business continuity planning. This includes establishing transport arrangements, meet-and-distribution hubs, and deploying trained personnel to assist during critical incidents.
To further enhance operational efficiency and collaboration, we have worked with the client to invest in innovative technology platforms. These systems improve information-sharing between Interr, the client, and our frontline teams, allowing our personnel to dedicate more time to strengthening relationships with key stakeholders and optimising service delivery.
This ongoing partnership reflects our ability to support a dynamic and customer-focused security programme at a global scale, ensuring the highest standards of safety, resilience, and service excellence, resulting in being awarded the majority responsibility for all their distribution, logistics, corporate and special projects across EMEIA in Q3 of 2024.
